What is Credo Treatment?
Credo Treatment is specially formulated for dry, damaged, and frizzy hair. It repairs the essential components and recreates the Lamella Cell Membrane Complex (CMC) structure of the hair by forming a highly effective protective film on the hair surface. It also reorganises the chain keys within the hair structure to eliminate frizz and other hair problems.
Understanding the CMC Structure
The CMC Structure AKA Lamellar Structure protects the hair from various associated with perming and dyeing without affecting the full result of the treatment. The loss of CMC Structure prevents the hair from locking in moisture, due to the loss of lipids resulting in porous hair. This prevents the hair from absorbing necessary nutrients and nourishments it requires, resulting in weak hair and is susceptible to damages.
How long will the treatment last?
The treatment usually lasts at least 4-6 months, depending on your hair condition.
The Process
Upon arrival, we will provide a complimentary scalp analysis to help you understand your scalp and hair conditions better, and help you get settled in for the next few hours you are going to be spending with us in our salon. To prepare your hair and scalp for this treatment, we will start off by giving you a thorough wash using a deep cleansing shampoo. This removes free radicals and stubborn impurities from both the hair and scalp.
Deep cleansing not only exfoliates dead skin cells, but also helps break down the build up of oil and debris that are blocking the pores within the hair and scalp. Deep cleansing allows better absorption of the treatment.
After washing, the hair is towel dried and Step 2 is applied onto the hair while it is still damp. The hair is separated into smaller sections, and the Step 2 solution is gently massaged into the hair, coating every single strand. This ensures that the treatment is applied thoroughly through hair.
Step 2 of the treatment helps the hair lock in moisture, aid in enhancing the penetration of the product deeper into the hair, prevents oxidation, and provides UV protection.
Step 3 allows us to separate, section and focus on the damaged parts of the hair. This crucial step helps us to achieve the same treatment results on every section of the hair at our very best capabilities. We start off by analysing, then sectioning out the damaged parts of the hair. The damaged parts of the hair is then coated with another layer of the treatment, and gently massaged into the hair again.
After application, we let the hair sit and absorb the treatment before moving onto Step 4.
Moving on to Step 4, which might be one of everyones’ favourite looking at how it is curated with its’ own properties to serve both curly/wavy and straight hair. Step 4 is the thorough washing and massaging of the hair with cold water, with the Step 4 solution.
Curly/Wavy Hair Step 4 – Inhibits natural curling, while moisturising both hair and scalp.
Straight Hair Step 4 – This step helps to seal nutrients in both the hair and scalp, eliminating any excess products.
The last step of this exceptional treatment is encapsulated in Step 5. This step involves the application of the treatment onto the midsection of the hair, extending down to the very tips. Through a thorough combing process, the product is diligently distributed, ensuring every strand has sufficient coverage. This strategic application is designed to fortify, moisturise, and hydrate each individual hair strand. After allowing the treatment to permeate for a few minutes, the next course of action involves a gentle rinsing of the hair with warm water.
